Job Title: Software Developer

Objective: As a Software Developer at Educational Vistas, you will be responsible for managing the code base for our core products, which are built on the .NET framework with an MSSQL backend. Your role will involve bug fixes, modification of existing code, and implementing new code enhancements. Additionally, you may be responsible for creating interoperability between our systems, including the CRM system built on Odoo (Python and Postgres SQL backend).

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the code base for our core products, ensuring their stability, scalability, and performance.
• Collaborate with the development team to fix bugs, enhance existing features, and develop new functionalities.
• Create and maintain interoperability between different systems, such as integrating the CRM system with other software applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and other development teams, to ensure the best user experience for our educators.
• Provide technical expertise and assistance in live software demos for potential customers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Development, or a related technical discipline (equivalent experience will be considered).
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, .NET, Python, MSSQL, and Postgres SQL.
• Recommended experience with MSSQL, Node.js, and JavaScript.
• Comfortable working on development MS servers such as MS Server 2021, 2019.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux environments.
• Experience working with SCM tools for code distribution.
• Certifications in relevant technologies are a plus but not required.
