View Student Scores

Overview

The View Student Scores feature allows authorized users to review student assessment results after an assessment has been completed. Results can be viewed at the student, class, school, or assessment level to monitor performance and identify areas for instructional support.

Who Can View Student Scores

  • Administrators

  • Teachers

  • Authorized Support Staff (based on assigned permissions)

Viewing Student Scores

  1. Login to DataMate
  2. Click on Reports in the menu
  3. Select the Year, Subject, Test name, School, and Class
  4. Select a Report that suits your needs. Some report examples may be:

                Summary Reports > Horizontal Summary by Alpha (alphabetical order)

                Reports > Horizontal Summary by Score

                Individual Reports > Student Details

Note: Available filters and reports may vary depending on your district's DataMate configuration.

Information Available

Depending on the assessment and report selected, you may be able to view:

  • Student name

  • Assessment name

  • Overall score

  • Performance level

  • Percentage correct

  • Standards or learning objectives

  • Question-level responses

  • Completion status

  • Date completed

Reviewing Student Performance

Use student results to:

  • Review overall assessment performance.

  • Identify strengths and areas for improvement.

  • Analyze performance by standard or learning objective (where available).

  • Compare results across multiple assessments.

Troubleshooting

If assessment results are not available:

  • Confirm the student has completed and submitted the assessment.

  • Verify that the assessment has been scored. Written Response questions may require manual scoring before final results are available.

  • Confirm you have permission to view the selected assessment and students.

  • Refresh the page and try again.

Before Contacting Support

If results are still missing or appear incorrect, please provide:

  • Student name

  • Student ID (if available)

  • Assessment name

  • School

  • Teacher

  • Screenshot of the issue

  • Approximate date and time the issue occurred

This information will help us investigate the issue more efficiently.
